All our products are available frozen only. Deliveries can take up to a week.

Here at Your Best Friends Butcher we deliver a frozen product right to your door step. Once received our products should be stored at a temperature of -18 degrees celsius or lower. We understand that your household freezers cannot maintain temperatures this low, so it is recommended that you do not store our pet food for longer than 3 months before thawing.

There are 3 ways to safely thaw : 

1. Place the container/ bag in the fridge 24 hours prior to serving. 

2. Place the container / bag in a sink full of cold tap water for approximately 2 hours, changing the water every 30 minutes. 

3. Place the container / bag in the microwave and set on the defrost option. Serve immediately.

All foods should be used within 4 to 5 days of thawing to prevent harmful bacteria growth that may make your furry friends sick.
